WENDY GRATER

Considered one of the leading kitchen specialists in the country, Director Wendy Grater, brings her background in Architectural Studies and over twenty years of kitchen design experience to her leadership of the Alpine German Kitchens team. Wendy’s vision for the company is to achieve an exceptional reputation for the design and installation of kitchens to the highest international standards.

She envisages achieving this through developing local design, installation, and service skills and combining this with premium imported products. This allows the company to seamlessly provide the client with an exceptional experience of their high-end kitchen, from the installation process right through to the achievement of the end product. As a result of her efforts, the company has been awarded a number of prestigious contracts and was recently named outstanding subcontractor on Sector One of the V & A Waterfront Residential Marina.

Our team consists of a group of multi-skilled people who are involved with all aspects of service delivery. They design, liaise with clients, administrate the business and oversee the installation process.

Our fitting teams are exclusively contracted to us and most of them have been working with Alpine German Kitchens for many years. This has allowed us to develop an enviable level of quality in installation and after-sales service.

Wendy is committed to contributing to the development of professional levels of craftsmanship and service in the South African kitchen industry. She is also passionate about encouraging the role of women in the construction and kitchen industry. Wendy has served on the KSA (Kitchen Specialists Association) Committee since 2008 and views this as part of her contribution to achieving this.
